For these European Heritage Days, under the theme Revive, Resist and Reinvent, we invite you on a visit to the three main rooms of the Ajuda Library, where we will give a brief account of its history and its installation in the space it has occupied since 1880. In the reading and manuscript rooms, we will present some of the original drawings for the design of the Ajuda Palace. We will also unveil a previously unshown copy of the Topographic Map of Lisbon and its Suburbs (1807), by Duarte José Fava, which has recently undergone conservation and restoration work.

Type: guided tour.
