In the year marking the 200th anniversary of the death of D. João VI, this visit invites you to discover what would have been the spaces intended for the king at the Ajuda Palace. There, gods, nymphs, and allegories celebrate royal power and the harmony of the kingdom, alongside compositions exalting figures such as Lusitania, Love of the Fatherland, Fortune, and the Tagus.

A visual tribute revealing how mythology and art came together to glorify the king and his era.

Type: guided tour.

Tour available in Portuguese.
