For these European Heritage Days, under the theme Revive, Resist, Reinvent, we invite the public on a visit through the architecture and construction history of the National Palace of Ajuda — a building shaped by successive campaigns of works, projects, and transformations.
Visitors will be invited to “read” the building by exploring its various architectural elements, on a route that includes “invisible” spaces such as the outer shell of the Ambassadors' Room and the Treasury Storeroom, offering a close-up look at the results of the conservation and restoration work carried out under the PRR (Recovery and Resilience Plan).
